 Joel G. Maxcy, Ph.D., is an economist with expertise in the fields of sports business, industrial organization, and   labor economics. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Washington State University. He is currently a full professor in the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Maxcy is the President of the International Association of Sports Economists (IASE).
